Use Uber, Bring Forex.

I used Uber about 5 times in last 15 days and paid less than INR 400 (< US$ 8) against total billing for more than INR 2500 (>US$ 40). Out of these last 3 rides has been absolutely free of cost. On a rough estimate, Uber should have paid about INR 2000 ( ~US$ 33) to cab owners/driver against these rides.

All Thanks to referral program and discount offer on Uber!!! INR 300 credit on each successful referral and flat 25% discount on each ride in Delhi/NCR.

Above calculations clearly says, I brought ~US$ 25 to India without breaking a law. Cab owners/drivers get paid (discount is not going out of their pocket).

Where is this money coming from? No rocket science…

US based startup Uber has raised about US$1.5 billion in various funding rounds since inception in 2010. And it has planned to invest US$400 million in India. All this is to be spent to acquire customers. How? Referral program and discount to existing and new customers to keep using Uber.

So Money is coming from Investors pocket. If they are willing to fund my cab rides, than why not?

We talk about stop using foreign products and services and start using Indians’ so that we help our economy to save Indian Rupee to go out of our boundary. Here I would say, use Uber.

This is one Foreign Service if we use till these referrals and discounts are going on and till we get near-free rides – our cab drivers/owners are safe and employed, we are not sending our currency and forex reserve outside - rather bringing more dollars into the country (Or, consuming, what is already been planned to spend in our country to remain in our country); and doing it fast, so that they are motivated to plan for more to invest or spare for our consumption.

And most importantly, by doing so (using more and more Uber till we get Near-Free-rides); we are motivating Indian entrepreneurs to launch world-class services. Some efforts has been started at Ola, TaxiForSure, Meru etc. But not enough. They have to improvise further. They need regulatory help from Indian Govt. particularly from RBI, who has started working this direction.

Whatever, anybody say or crib, Uber is really cool. It really function like my personal driver. However, driver changes everytime… J and service standard are very high. Thumps up!

For all to Know, what I think of our Political system today...

I generally don't outrage my political views... Today, somehow, I could not bear it anymore and thought of putting it here. Please feel free to correct me if I am wrong. I can't tell how happy would I be proven wrong for once.

I, an individual citizen of this country, is deeply disappointed with one The Person, with whom I, like others, had gained some hopes of doing good and supported wholeheartedly. But soon, He started behaving like a child, started appointing all wrong people around Him and soon after once in power, He with His people started putting themselves above law and order. Everyone makes mistakes, but then, one should admit the mistakes, learn from them and try ways to correct them. Keep on doing all wrong one after another is absolute Foolishness.

They were expected to clean and improve the political and administrative system within the reach of law. But, most of His key people turned out to be spoiled brat. And, then I started thinking of Him like, 'Me Too' person or 'Just Another Political Player'. I believe now that it (issue based of which He came to play the politics) was nothing but a Political Lollipop for the countrymen.

I thought it was good decision of another good person (His so called Guru) for not supporting Him from the very beginning. I used to think, Guruji is no brainer. Why is Guruji not supporting Him? How can Guruji clean all the garbage without coming in active politics? After all that, I realized, Guruji was intelligent and knew Him better, What is there in depth of His mind. I am immature to understand all that bade logo ki baatein...

Than happened the Big Bang that made me crazy, really mad... Guruji brought a Surprise, Surprise! and appeared in favour of "the beloved didi". I felt like, this is out of the world. I now strongly believe that nothing can happen to this country's political system. It is like, as Shakespeare said, et tu brut!

He still continue to roam around doing all the bull-crap. I don’t know, What is His true face? Is He really good at heart, want to do real good to the people and not able to understand what, how, when to do? And, just following how others are guiding Him, Or doing what He is doing out of the rage or whatever. I really don’t know, and don’t want to be judgmental as well. I think, if He is really good, He should calm down and sit back. Look around Himself, what kind of people is surrounded by. He need to clean his own system first.

But, if He is What I perceive now he is, I am very very disappointed and feel like cheated. I feel as Nothing gonna change this world. No matter, how intelligent we become, no matter, how many Sapience we add after Homo, the human animal will remain what IT IS... And, I really mean IT. the more intelligent we become, the more we are getting closer to being IT from he or she. Anyway, biologically human race is like another creature and another race with something gifted inside top 4 inches of its body. And, I am really not very proud of that gift on how it been used on this front.
